Mid Fullstack Engineer (NestJS/AWS/Azure) – Latin America

As a Mid Fullstack Engineer, you will develop and maintain modern, cloud‑native platforms that power AI‑driven simulations for workforce training. Your primary focus will be backend development using TypeScript and NestJS while supporting frontend components with ReactJS. Collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, you will help migrate legacy systems to scalable architectures in Azure and AWS, ensuring high‑quality, performant, and maintainable solutions.

Accountabilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services with NestJS and TypeScript

Support frontend components using ReactJS as needed (approx. 20% of the role)

Contribute to the migration of legacy Java–based backend services to modern cloud‑native architectures

Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions

Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and adherence to software best practices

Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in Azure and AWS environments

Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance system performance for reliability and scalability

Requirements

4‑6 years of professional software development experience

3+ years of hands‑on experience with TypeScript and NestJS in production

Experience with ReactJS (basic to intermediate) for frontend support

Familiarity with Java for legacy system understanding and migration

Experience working with cloud services (Azure preferred; AWS a plus)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins

Strong understanding of software design principles, REST APIs, and modular architecture

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team

Nice to have: experience integrating AI tools/APIs, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and mentoring team members
