AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Mroads is looking for an "AWS DevOps Engineer" for one of our direct clients in Bogota, Colombia.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

5+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and enterprise DevOps initiatives.

Strong experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Harness or similar DevOps platforms.

Hands-on experience with AWS, Amazon EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Experience implementing cloud-native deployment strategies and infrastructure automation.

Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and microservices architecture.

Experience supporting event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.

Familiarity with MongoDB, NoSQL databases, WebSockets, and GraphQL integrations.

Strong knowledge of Git and modern software development workflows.

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
