Job Description

Overview Atlas Bench is a Platinum Atlassian Solution Partner and a recognized leader in cloud delivery, AI-driven solutions, and modern software development. We build high-impact systems for global clients, combining strong engineering fundamentals with rapid execution, secure practices, and scalable architecture. Monthly budget Up to 2,500 USD per month (approximately 11,000,000+ COP)

Key responsibilities Technical leadership and architecture Own large features end-to-end, from requirements through deployment

Make architectural decisions across React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript to ensure scalability and maintainability

Support DevOps workflows, including Docker and deployments using Kubernetes or similar platforms

Help maintain reliable CI and CD for fast, safe releases

Front-end and back-end development Build complex interfaces and reusable components in React or Next.js with strong performance and accessibility

Build and maintain REST APIs in Node.js, including integrations and business logic

Optimize performance using code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and related techniques

Code quality and testing Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Mocha

Lead code reviews, set standards, and coach best practices

Apply secure coding practices and implement strong authentication and authorization patterns such as OAuth and JWT

Team collaboration and mentorship Mentor junior and mid-level developers through pairing, reviews, and knowledge sharing

Participate in agile ceremonies and execution, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Maintain clear technical documentation for decisions, features, and integrations

Monitor and troubleshoot using logs, dashboards, and profilers

Evaluate and adopt improvements in tooling and frameworks to keep the stack modern

Drive refactoring and automation to reduce friction and improve delivery speed

Qualifications Strong TypeScript experience in production systems

Proven React or Next.js delivery experience

Strong Node.js REST API experience and database integration (SQL or NoSQL)

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with CI and CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI

Strong communication, leadership, and mentorship ability

Security awareness and best practices for data protection and authentication
