Focus: Full Stack Engineering with strong Java Backend expertise

About the Project We are building an enterprise-grade Data Observability Platform designed to help manufacturing and financial-services organizations detect schema drift across heterogeneous IT systems in near real time.

The platform connects to on-premises databases, data lakes, and file-based sources through lightweight agents, automatically detects structural and data-level changes, and provides impact analysis, business glossary, data governance, and observability workflows through a modern web console.

The product is currently moving from prototype to active customer Proof-of-Concept (PoC) deployments .

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can help accelerate customer adoption by translating customer requirements into production-ready features quickly and reliably.

This role is ideal for a full stack engineer with strong Java backend expertise who enjoys working across backend, frontend, databases, testing, integrations, and customer-specific technical requirements.

What You’ll Do Work directly with the CTO and product team to translate customer and Sales requirements into production-ready features.

Own features end-to-end across Java backend, database, APIs, and React/Next.js frontend .

Build and extend REST APIs and backend services using Java and Quarkus.

Develop modern frontend experiences using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

Design database schemas, migrations, indexes, and optimized queries in PostgreSQL.

Implement customer‑specific integrations, connectors, authentication, notification routing, and deployment configurations.

Participate in code reviews with a strong focus on:

Security

Performance

Test coverage

Database migration safety

Maintainability

Production readiness

Design and implement unit and integration tests using real infrastructure where appropriate.

Extend existing Quarkus integration tests and k6 performance tests .

Identify opportunities to replace manual validation with reliable test automation.

Work with event‑driven architectures using Kafka‑compatible technologies such as Redpanda.

Contribute to AI‑enabled data enrichment and semantic search capabilities.

Work with Docker, GitHub Actions, environment‑based configuration, and deployment tooling.

Troubleshoot production issues and identify minimal, safe solutions to customer‑specific technical challenges.

Mentor other engineers and raise engineering quality standards through technical feedback and code reviews.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software engineering experience .

Strong experience as a Full Stack Engineer , with proven ownership of features across backend and frontend.

Strong professional experience building REST APIs with Java .

Experience with Quarkus, Spring Boot, or another JVM‑based framework .

Ability to quickly understand and work with Quarkus concepts such as:

CDI

RESTEasy Reactive

MicroProfile

JWT

Strong production experience with React and TypeScript .

Experience with Next.js and modern React development patterns.

Query optimization

Database migrations

Experience with Flyway, Liquibase, or similar migration tools .

Hands‑on experience with Docker and containerized development workflows .

Experience writing and maintaining integration tests , not only unit tests.

Strong understanding of test automation and the ability to determine what should—and should not—be automated.

Experience with CI/CD workflows , preferably GitHub Actions.

Strong understanding of production‑quality software engineering, including security, performance, reliability, maintainability, and safe database migrations.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to deliver customer‑driven features quickly.
