Cloud Engineer - Security & Network

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in networking and security to design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, network architecture, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement secure cloud network architectures (VPC, subnets, routing, VPNs, firewalls)

Configure and manage cloud security services such as IAM, security groups, and network ACLs

Monitor cloud environments for security threats and vulnerabilities

Implement security best practices, policies, and compliance standards (ISO, SOC2, etc.)

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure in platforms AWS and Azure

Perform regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing coordination

Configure and maintain load balancers, DNS, and web application firewalls (WAF)

Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines

Troubleshoot network and security‑related issues in cloud environments

Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, networking, or security

Strong experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewall concepts, and network protocols

Experience with cloud security tools and services (IAM, WAF, Shield, Security Center)

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)

Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS benchmarks)

Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Splunk, etc.)

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
