Amrize IT is seeking a Senior SAP Basis Engineer to join the SAP Applications Team. This role is responsible for managing and supporting the SAP technical landscape, ensuring system availability, performance, and stability across multiple SAP platforms and environments. The position serves as a key technical partner between SAP technology and business operations, coordinating technical activities and supporting strategic initiatives that enable business continuity and growth.

What you will do: Administer and support SAP environments, ensuring optimal system performance, availability, and reliability

Manage SAP platform components including ERP, BW, Solution Manager, CRM, Fiori, PI/PO, and related technologies

Monitor and maintain databases, operating systems, and SAP infrastructure to support business-critical processes

Coordinate technical activities between SAP platforms, infrastructure teams, external providers, and business stakeholders

Support SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, system refreshes, and maintenance activities

Collaborate on technology projects involving SAP cloud solutions, integrations, and platform improvements

Manage performance monitoring, incident resolution, and change management activities following ITSM processes

Ensure compliance with SOX controls and support audit requirements related to SAP platform operations

Qualifications: Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Extensive experience as SAP Basis Administrator or SAP Basis Engineer in enterprise environments

Strong knowledge of SAP architecture and administration across platforms such as SAP ERP, BW, Solution Manager, CRM, Fiori, and PI/PO

Experience with SAP HANA and Oracle databases

Knowledge of operating systems such as AIX and Linux

Experience with SAP Cloud technologies including BTP, Cloud Connector, Integration Suite, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is highly desirable

Understanding of SAP RICEFW objects and technical integration concepts

Experience managing SAP technical operations, performance optimization, and infrastructure-related projects
