Ruby on Rails Developer (VM) (Remote - Latam) As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software applications that optimize mobile device services and reduce cellular costs for global clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, contribute to both front-end and back-end development, and ensure the software is scalable, reliable, and maintainable. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and related technologies

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Develop front-end features using CSS3, HTML5, and Bootstrap while integrating content from MSSQL databases

Test software through unit tests, integration tests, and debugging tools

Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to solve complex software problems

Contribute to project plans, technical specifications, and Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in software development

Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

4+ years of professional experience in software development

Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and web application architecture

Proficient in front-end technologies: CSS3, HTML5, Bootstrap

Experience with Cold Fusion is a plus

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS

Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases

Proficient with version control systems, preferably Git

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management

Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
