Java Support Engineer

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience.

4+ years of professional Java development (including legacy systems & Java EE).

2+ years of professional experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework

Expertise in REST API consumption and debugging.

Experience with JBoss/Apache application servers.

Advanced skills with Oracle DB.

Strong debugging and triage capabilities in production environments.

Linux basics and Bash scripting.

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and New Relic.

Conversational English is a requirement, as you will be working directly with US - based clients.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

Triage and resolve tickets from the incident queue.

Monitor system alerts and respond to incidents.

Participate in control callouts and outage response.

Perform root cause analysis and contribute to system reliability improvements.

Debug backend processes and troubleshoot REST API integrations.

Collaborate in an Agile, team-oriented environment.

Maintain documentation throughout the SDLC.
