Junior Analyst

Summary

Danescor is a leader in the fast-developing market of Internet Investment Banking (IIB) operating across the US and Europe providing investment banking services to mid-market corporates seeking to acquire, sell or raise debt or equity finance. You will support the delivery of professional services to retained investment banking corporate clients in the UK and Europe, which uses a cutting‑edge M&A platform. The position will involve client interaction and project delivery, reporting to the UK manager. The successful candidate will be involved in company research, information memoranda production, valuation analysis, report generation, buyer or acquisition target research, industry and competitive analysis and project campaign execution.

Role Description

Danescor's professional services team primarily focuses on helping clients execute their buy‑side M&A strategy: from deal origination, target evaluation, and support through to closing. This role offers a great opportunity to support on live M&A mandates by working with an associate and gaining exposure to C‑level executives.

Responsibilities include

M&A research for sales and acquisition mandates

Identify acquisition targets through targeted research efforts

Communicate to the highest standard of professionalism with business owners and executives effectively over the phone, email, and other platforms.

Profiling of companies and manage a database of researched companies.

Researching industry sectors and analyzing companies, industries, and financial statements/performance

Where applicable and needed, development of marketing materials including teasers, confidential memoranda, and client presentations

Contributing to industry research efforts and profiling buyers and target corporates supported by due diligence reporting

Prepare industry insights and monitor activity.

Qualifications

Excellent English skills (fluent or C1 level), other languages are a plus

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Proactive and team player

Organized and highly attentive

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

Bachelor's degree
