Job Title: Fullstack Developer

Location: Colombia (Remote)

Role Overview

Freyr is seeking a Fullstack Developer. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications using modern technologies while ensuring compliance within a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in Python and React, along with a solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, Agile methodologies, and modern software engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code using TDD, design patterns, and best practices

Design and build scalable fullstack applications using Python and React

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop features, UI/UX concepts, and prototypes

Implement continuous delivery practices to ensure high-quality and timely software releases

Apply DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and security integration

Select appropriate technologies and design solutions aligned with business needs

Secondary Responsibilities

Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy

Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and internal processes

Continuously improve development processes and practices

Interactions

Work closely with developers, product teams, UX designers, and stakeholders

Collaborate in Agile, cross-functional, and matrixed environments

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Life Sciences, or related field

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

Strong hands-on experience as a Fullstack Developer (Python + React)

Experience with object-oriented programming and modern frameworks

Knowledge of TDD, CI/CD, and Agile/Lean development practices

Experience with DevSecOps tools and practices

Good to Have

Experience with cloud technologies (AWS)

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes

Exposure to event-driven architecture / platform engineering

Soft Skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on time
