Senior React Developer

Overview At Sii Group Colombia, we’re looking for a Lead React Fullstack Developer to join one of our most strategic international projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in leading front-end architecture efforts while also being capable of integrating with modern backend services. You’ll be the technical front-end reference for the team and contribute to building scalable, high-performance applications using React and Java in a microservices environment.

Responsibilities Lead the UI development effort and define the front-end architecture

Design and develop scalable components using React

Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate Java-based microservices

Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability across the stack

Build and consume APIs efficiently, ensuring data consistency

Guide and mentor junior developers, ensuring technical alignment

Work closely with DevOps to ensure seamless deployment and automation

Drive best practices in coding, testing, and system design

Requirements 6+ years of professional software development experience

Strong expertise in React and modern frontend architecture (70% focus)

Solid experience with Java for backend development (30% focus)

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines

Proven experience leading small teams (up to 6 people)

Upper-intermediate to advanced English (B2–C1 level)
