ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to build and maintain web applications for a tax research and workpapers platform. The role spans front-end development in React and back-end services in Node.js, C#, and Python, with data managed across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB. This is a short-term contract running through December 31, spanning the full AWS cloud stack.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ReactJS for the front end.

Build scalable and reliable back-end services using Node.js, C#, and Python.

Optimize and manage data persistence layers with PostgreSQL and AWS DynamoDB.

Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as SQS, Lambda, ECS, CloudFront, ALB, and EventBridge.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and manage continuous integration and deployment workflows via GitLab CI/CD.

Write robust automated tests with Jest and Playwright to ensure code quality and application reliability.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the full development lifecycle.

MUST HAVES

3+ years of experience as a software engineer .

Front-End: Experience building responsive interfaces with ReactJS .

Back-End: Experience developing APIs and services using Node.js, C#, and Python .

Databases: Proficient with PostgreSQL and AWS DynamoDB for both relational and NoSQL data management.

Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with key AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, ECS, CloudFront, ALB, and EventBridge.

Testing: Solid experience with automated testing frameworks, especially Jest and Playwright .

DevOps: Practical experience with Terraform for IaC and GitLab for CI/CD processes.

Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

Additional proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure automation best practices.

Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Working knowledge of Python for scripting or service development.
