We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in designing and developing user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications. About the role:
As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of user-centered and visually appealing interfaces for websites and web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other designers to deliver high-quality digital products that meet user needs and business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the design process from research and ideation to wireframing, prototyping, and implementation
Develop user personas, user flows, and information architecture to guide the design process
Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that meet accessibility and usability standards
Collaborate with developers to ensure the implementation of the designs meets the intended user experience
Mentor and guide junior designers in the team
Continuously improve design processes and methodologies to enhance the team’s efficiency and effectiveness
Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications
Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and user-centered design skills
Experience leading and mentoring other designers
Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
Solid understanding of web design principles including responsive design, accessibility, and usability
Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web development technologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Essential qualities or behaviors
Great communication skills for explaining ideas and discussing solutions with developers, clients, and other team members
Self-motivated and proactive. Keen to learn and continually improve workflow and team productivity, sharing your ideas with the team.
Excellent creative problem solver, always trying to come up with the best solution to a problem.
Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You take pride in the quality of your work from the research through to the implementation.
