Physics Tutor & Research Expert| Remote

Position: STEM - Physics Expert (Task Based)

Type: Short-Term Contract (3 Months)

Compensation: $250 per approved task

Location: Remote

Commitment: Up to 40 hours per week with 4 hours overlap with PST

Role Responsibilities Design and solve challenging Physics problems to evaluate and improve large language models (LLMs)

Create clear, high-quality, step-by-step solutions with well-articulated reasoning

Collaborate with AI researchers to develop evaluation tasks focused on areas where models typically struggle

Help define new Physics evaluation benchmarks spanning undergraduate to PhD-level topics

Analyze and solve complex Physics problems using structured and logical approaches

Explain Physics concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and Physics reasoning

Provide detailed annotations, feedback, and reasoning for AI evaluation workflows

Requirements Master's, PhD, or Postdoctoral degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field

Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Experience explaining complex Physics concepts clearly and effectively

Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations

Creative and lateral thinking abilities

Excellent written communication and collaboration skills

Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Access to a desktop/laptop with a reliable internet connection

Additional Information Average task completion time: 6–8 hours

Candidates will undergo background verification after onboarding
