Technology Ecosystem

Responsibilities
Actively work with Product Management to translate requirements into technical design and implementations.
Prepare and review technical specifications, review code, and write code where required.
Validate development builds and provide early feedback to ensure high‑quality delivery.
Understand payment systems, including real‑time capabilities, and emerging opportunities in CI/CD and cloud‑based deployment.
Support production support teams, helping to resolve issues and improve productivity with tooling.
Project Roadmap
Oversee and guide multiple development projects while supporting existing applications.
In‑flight / Planned Initiatives
Rebuild the Funding / Withdrawal Cash Management and Treasury Management platform for StoneX Enterprise.
Align with Fund & Withdrawal Strategy and Architecture; develop data architecture and technical designs for re‑engineering modules to newer technologies in phased manner.
Build a future‑state platform using a multi‑tenancy SaaS model.
Develop an integration hub platform to connect with customers and banks.
Enable full ISO20022 support for inbound and outbound traffic.
Provide productization and offer capabilities in a SaaS model.
Support other initiatives across Cash Management and Treasury Management applications.
Architecture
Align with overall product and technology architecture.
Experience building real‑time payments and low‑latency systems.
Qualifications
Developing applications on Java Spring Boot framework.
Experience with messaging/integration middleware such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Front‑end skills: HTML, CSS, JS, React framework.
Relational databases: SQL Server and Postgres.
Object‑oriented design & development.
Agile development practices with tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA.
Version control using SVN or Git.
Unit testing frameworks and test automation.
Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure; exposure to deploying Docker containers with Kubernetes.
CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
Education / Certification Requirements
University qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; or a strong GitHub portfolio showcasing recent projects.
Working Environment
Hybrid – 4 days in office at Avenida Carrera 9A, Edificio Torre Tierrafirme Bogotá, 110111 Colombia.
Full‑time employment under a standard contract.
