Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

Role

Senior DevOps Engineer — you will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that power mission-critical applications. You will lead efforts in automation, cloud architecture, monitoring, and security, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.

Define and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.

Oversee Linux system administration and configuration management with Chef or Ansible.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, AWS Pipelines, or Jenkins.

Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, PHP, Ruby, Go, or Node.js.

Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.

Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes.

Apply cloud security best practices (subnets, security groups, firewall rules, WAF, DNS, SSH).

Support PCI compliance preparation and audits.

Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system reliability optimization.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role with hands-on expertise with AWS.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, Ansible, Terraform).

Experience with Linux system administration and configuration management tools.

Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation.

Solid programming/scripting skills in at least one of: Python, Bash, Go, Ruby, PHP, or Node.js.

Experience with Docker and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS).

Familiarity with security best practices and compliance (PCI, SOC2, etc.).

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and reliability.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
