Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build, automate, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure supporting a large U.S. retail platform. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role for an experienced infrastructure professional with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, cloud networking, security, and CI/CD automation . You will partner closely with engineering teams, architects, and senior stakeholders to enable reliable production deployments, resolve infrastructure dependencies, and continuously improve the platform while operating within strict retail security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related roles.

3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments.

Strong experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation.

Hands‑on expertise with:

Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Azure Key Vault

Azure Storage Accounts

Azure Functions

Cosmos DB

Azure Networking (DNS, Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, Private Link)

Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Strong understanding of cloud networking, security architecture, identity, and access management.

Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills within large‑scale cloud environments.

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive technical issues to resolution.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders.

Set Yourself Apart With

Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or AZ-500.

Experience with Cloudflare, Redis Cache, API Management, or API Gateway technologies.

Experience supporting highly available, mission‑critical production platforms at enterprise scale.

Exposure to monitoring and observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Grafana, or Prometheus.

Experience partnering directly with solution architects on cloud infrastructure strategy and platform modernization initiatives.

This is a contractor role that goes until December 31st, with the possibility of extension or conversion to Full- time**
