We are seeking a System Administrator responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT services and business applications. This role combines IT support, identity and access management, and infrastructure change execution, requiring strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, and adherence to formal change management processes.
Responsibilities
Monitor and triage incoming IT support tickets based on priority, impact, and urgency
Categorize, assign, and elevate incidents and service requests to the appropriate teams when required
Track service level agreements (SLAs) and follow up to ensure timely resolution of requests
Communicate clearly with end users regarding ticket status, progress, and resolution
Maintain and improve support documentation, triage procedures, and operational runbooks
Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations across business applications using protocols such as SAML and OIDC
Onboard new applications into identity platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, or Google Workspace
Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and group-based access controls through SSO platforms
Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and application access issues
Maintain accurate documentation of SSO configurations and application inventories
Submit, document, and execute infrastructure and system changes according to established change management procedures
Prepare change requests, including risk assessments, rollback plans, and implementation activities
Coordinate approvals and implementation activities with key stakeholders
Validate post-implementation results and document outcomes accordingly
Requirements and Qualifications
3+ years of experience in System Administration or IT Support
Experience with identity providers and SSO protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and SCIM
Experience managing Single Sign-On integrations across business applications
Familiarity with ticketing platforms such as Jira Service Management, Zendesk, or ServiceNow;
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities
Experience following structured change management processes
Experience managing user access, authentication, and authorization configurations
Experience as a System Administrator (SysOps)
Nice to Have
Experience administering Okta, Azure Active Directory, or Google Workspace
Experience automating operational and administrative tasks
Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
Understanding of IT governance, security, and access management best practices
