About the Role

Role: React Native engineer / Mobile with React Native Engineer

Location: Colombia (Remote)

Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of mobile applications using React Native

Drive technical discussions, architecture decisions, and best practices

Collaborate closely with engineers through pair programming and team-based development

Mentor team members, providing technical guidance and performance support

Contribute to backend development using Java/Kotlin/Spring when required

Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and continuous improvement

Must Have

7+ years of software engineering experience

Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or senior technical leader

Strong hands-on experience with React Native and mobile development

Experience in architecture and technical decision-making

Strong communication skills and conversational English fluency

Experience working in collaborative environments (pair programming, team discussions)

Availability to work aligned with US Eastern Time

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot

Familiarity with native Android development

Experience with PostgreSQL or SQL databases

Exposure to Redis, Kafka, or distributed systems

Experience with Azure or cloud environments
