Senior Fullstack Developer (Java/Vue)
Gorilla Logic is looking for a Mid Backend Developer with web services and other backend development skills to work as a member of an Agile team responsible for building and maintaining our client’s web and mobile applications. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
Responsibilities
*Work with an agile team to build, maintain and optimize our client’s web services and other backend systems
*Work with DevOps and QA to build a quality focused CI/CD pipeline
*Build out unit tests to ensure that the code is reasonably tested prior to shipment
*Work in an Agile environment to define, estimate and work user stories
*Excellent English and communications skills required
*Good Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Technical Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
*3+ years development experience
*3+ years of backend development experience with Java
*1+ years of experience using Spring
*Development experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
*Demonstrated experience building and maintaining a production application
Bonus Skills
*Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security and/or Spring Cloud
*Development experience with a modern framework like Angular, React and/or Vue
*Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
*Messaging experience with Kafka
*Container experience with Docker/Kubernetes
*Google Cloud experience is a big plus
